With a goal to represent & share Panama, its culture, food and rich history we understood how important it was to open our eatery. 

Caribbean Soul Kitchen LA, began with husband & wife duo, Chef RJ & Mercedes in 2020. In our small home kitchen it became ground zero for our now famous house made seasoning & sauces and beverages. We began sharing our food and flavors locally and in 2021 we opened our first brick & mortar. In late 2025 we opened our restaurant and venue - 3000 sq ft of delicious space in Long Beach California. As the First & Only Panamanian restaurant on the west coast. We offer some of the best Sancocho, Oxtail including Pescado, Red Snapper, Patacones, Ceviche, Tamale, Yuca Frita, Carimonola. We offer Jerk flavors for our Caribbean/Jamaican family we represent.
